As Etihad Airways features more and more, carrying passengers to New Zealand, so Abu Dhabi will play its part as a stop over option. Less crowded than its neighbour, Dubai, this lesser known Emirate has great hotels, some truly wonderful beaches with the perfect swimming sea and a squillion restaurants to choose from. A couple of days at the end could just be perfect.
