The Crown Hotel Napier overlooks the waterfront in the village of Ahuriri, Napier. The hotel offers premier accommodation and conference facilities in a luxurious seaside setting. The hotel has 39 stylish and unique guest suites, ranging from studios to two bedroom luxury apartments. The heritage suites and conference facilities, located in the original 1932 Crown Hotel Building, have been lovingly restored to reflect the history and style of the Art Deco era.
Adjacent to the original building sits a newly constructed four-storey complex which features studios and suites with stunning ocean views, contemporary furnishings and a range of amenities.
Together these architectural elements combine to create a hotel with a unique blend of history and contemporary style.

Napier is world renowned for Art Deco elegance, so why not try one of our heritage suites? These suites embody timeless style and luxury in the beautifully refurbished original 1932 Crown Hotel building.
Heritage Studio Suite (sleeps 1-2)
King bed, ensuite with corner spa bath, luxurious bathrobes and unique original touches including a gas fireplace in one room.
Heritage Two Bedroom Suite (sleeps 1-4)
Two elegant bedrooms, king beds, each with ensuites (spa bath in one), luxurious bathrobes, lounge, and balcony.
Please note that the Heritage Suites are located on the first floor of the Crown Heritage Building and do not have lift access.
Contemporary Rooms
The Crown Hotel's modern and luxurious studios and apartments are superbly appointed, creating the perfect environment to relax and unwind. The hotel offers a range of room sizes and layouts to suit most guest requirements, all with private decks, underfloor heating, kitchenettes and sea views.
Studio Room (sleeps 1-2)
Spacious rooms with ensuite bathroom and expansive waterfront views.
One Bedroom Suite (sleeps 1-4)
Spacious apartments with seperate lounge and bedroom. Large bathroom, some with spa baths. Disabled rooms available.
Studio Premium Suite (sleeps 1-2)
Newly opened in November 2008, stunning studio rooms with spa baths and super king split beds. Direct seaviews.
One Bedroom Premium (sleeps 1-4)
Either top floor views with spa baths or large corner rooms with stunning sea views. Queen bed and fold out double sofa beds in corner rooms.
Two Bedroom (sleeps 1-5)
The convenience of two bedrooms, a separate lounge, and one bathroom. Ideal for families.
Two Bedroom Premium (sleeps 1-4)
Two luxurious bedrooms, each with an ensuite (one with spa bath), lounge, full kitchen and laundry and expansive top floor sea views from a large private deck.
There are three luxurious and spacious self-contained apartments available for short, medium or long term stays.

Located in the Ahuriri Village oppposite the main hotel, these apartments are surrounded by Napier's most popular restaurants and cafe's. Situated on the upper floor in an original woolstore buildling, these super spacious (200m2)apartments feature the original wood beams and are the best in urban style.
There is a gym in the hotel.
Guests travelling with babies can be provided with a portacot. The hotel also provides a complimentary goody pack which contains nappy bags, wipes, change mat, toys and baby product samples. Baby baths and highchairs are also available and they can organise hireage of car seats if required.
The new Milk & Honey Restaurant is bright and breezy with views overlooking the water, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.
